Impressive sought-after color image, SON OF GOD, now appears in a Bible Literacy Project by the Massachusetts Bible Society.

Son of Man. Son of God. If we know Jesus in the fellowship of his suffering, then we are promised to know Christ in the power of his resurrection. Being both an expressionist and a prophetic artist, I feel I have a terrible freedom, yet an equally viable restraint.

This piece was truly a challenge. In actuality, what you see is the seventh image of six other attempts. I merely scrubbed away the pastel, leaving behind a fainted shadow. Endless hours of hard work disappear with particles of color flying wildly to the floor.

Each time I started over, I felt something wasn't quite right; each time I dealt with feelings of failure, frustration, and needless fear. Yet, the Holy Spirit kept urging me on. Slowly with the last stroke, I laid my pastels to rest. With my art uploaded, I waited...
