MERCY SEAT, a pastel painting declaring Jesus Christ the Eternal Mercy Seat. It is truly the love of God in thought, word, deed, and action, declaring the grace and mercy of forgiving love freely given to each of us. The incredible wonder of the Mercy Seat rejoices in the precious blood sprinkled upon it. In fact, there is No Greater Love sitting upon that Mercy Seat than Christ Jesus of Nazareth.

Once again, the majesty of pastels comes to my aid with the splendor the Mercy Seat Himself. The clarity of vision, God's perfect love, imparted to our lives is not dimmed at all by the sweet-smelling frankincense offered upon the altar in worship. Even as I ponder the Mercy Seat, a peace envelopes me, like the cloud in the painting. Jesus is so real to me, so loving, forgiving, and kind. The sovereign monarchy of Holy Spirit given to believers from the Mercy Seat is a mercy beyond grace that I can not even begin to fathom but simply appreciate even more and more as Christ's second coming approaches,
